They draw attention and steal the show, they make it obvious that you have put some serious thought into designing your space and how beautiful it is.

If you place one in your garden’s corner you can then commence to grow smaller varieties in containers and in the ground around it. They Can Be Easily Relocated (with the Right Container)
A large plant? Easily relocated? Are you silly? Absolutely not! You don’t have to go with an old school ceramic pot to house your large variety. This is something out of the old school and this is why you see these containers covered in mould and all kinds of growth because the owner simply didn’t have the strength to move it!
Conversely, you could choose something like a fibreglass container as this makes relocation simple. You may need a little assistance to lift it and relocate it but this will be a lot easier than if you choose a heavier material. Seasonal varieties often need relocating to enjoy healthier growth and therefore you may like to choose a fibreglass container to relocate your variety.
They Can Just Keep Growing
And isn’t that the beauty of it all? To watch a stunning Australian variety continue to grow and thrive is one of the absolute joys of gardening. One day you are there planting it as a hopeful garden centrepiece. Then you look out the backdoor a year or two later to see that it has become one of the most beautiful and gorgeous varieties you have ever seen. It is a source of true pride and something that gives us gardeners ultimate satisfaction!
